Money, money, money…

Friday, September 3rd, 2010

‘Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man’s world’.  I believe even if someone isn’t a fan of Abba, he/she may still have heard this piece of lyric. Gosh, wouldn’t we all love to be rich or financially free. :)

We’re already in the month of September, and Summer is slowly slipping away. We’d usually start turning on the heaters sometime in November. But the weather has already started to turn cold lately that we are contemplating on turning on the heaters a wee bit earlier. Which means that we need to spend money on the heating much earlier too.

Also, since we are going to the weekend house in the country more often these days, there too we have to spend money. On the house basically. New vaccuum cleaner (so that we don’t have to carry the one from home all the time), install an electric heater (burning wood for heating has become too troublesome – plus not too eco friendly I think), install some cellular shades for the windows perhaps, and also some tools for the garden.

Not to mention now that the Ipod touch 4 is out, I need to get it. LOL All of which needs money. If only money grows on trees, I’d happily be a money tree planter. Wouldn’t we all now? :)

This is why you are fat.

A good friend emailed me a url of a really interesting website – thisiswhyyourefat.com. If you cannot guess already, the site is filled with mouth-watering,fat rich food pictures. The pictures are submitted by readers from everywhere.

Looking at a double coronary burger, I wonder how many hours one would need to exercise just to burn all those calories away?

Nevertheless, I just got to admit, many of the  food in the website does look wonderfully yummy…

Well, I’m quite sure if I like to eat these sort of rich food, a fat burner would be my close companion. :P

Kakkoii Osaka Jin.

Friday, November 13th, 2009

It’s about 11.30 pm right now and I am suppose to be in bed by now. But after tossing and turning for about half an hour I got up and here I am.

I was watching some funny Japanese clips on youtube and found this video of how Osaka people would react to gun shot sound or the slashing sound of a katana. Good gosh, they are really “kakkoii” or cool people. Regardless of age they would react as if it were real. LOL. Hope you enjoy the video as much as I did.

Anyhow, I am suppose to get myself sleepy but I’m making myself even wide awake after a good laugh. Should be off to bed soon or I’d definitely look like I’m going to turn into a panda with 2 dark circles under my eyes tomorrow.

Cute motorhome.

Saturday, October 3rd, 2009

One of my dreams is travelling around in a motorhome. Seeing new places without having to leave the comfort of home behind. Well, only if the motorhome is big enough to have a bed, a shower, a kitchen and perhaps a small lounge, that is.

But check out this small motorhome that is big enough for a single mattress.

Interesting…. :) At least this small motorhome won’t be needing any special motorhome towing services.

But I don’t think I’d want to travel far in that.

Funny Japanese Classroom show.

Thursday, April 30th, 2009

When I don’t feel in the mood to practice on my Japanese writings and memorizing words I would watch something Japanese for a change. Especially their humour videos. Although some of them can be plain ridiculous but many are just darn hilarious.

This video is from a Japanese show where a few Japanese celebrities were asked to sit in a class and they’d be shown a video of a Japanese man trying to learn English. That’s the funny part. Believe me, it is funny sometimes to listen to someone speak a newly learnt language.( I speak Hungarian in a funny way I know). Anyway, the rule of the game is, no matter how funny it is, those guys cannot smile or laugh or they will be spank on the buttocks. Looking at them, I suppose the spanking was real.

Watch the video! You don’t need to understand Japanese to enjoy it.
