Ultimate Creme

Saturday, January 16th, 2010

It was last month when I wrote a post regarding myself trying out the Nivea creme in the blue tin for my extremely dry skin. I’ve been using the cream for a month now. Every single day. The cream is just great and I’m just thankful that finally I have found something to help me handle my dry skin and not cause major break outs while being so affordable. Well, I still have a one or two break outs but not as much as I would expect or what I would usually have to endure with other moisturizing creams.

So has my journey to finding the ultimate moisturizing cream has ended? Hopefully. It happened before that a cream may work for me for some time and after a while it loses its effect. I’m not sure why but sure hope this cream would be ‘the’ moisturizing cream for me for a long time. I really do feel for people who have major skin problems, when it is hard to find the for the right facial acne treatment, body acne treatment, eczema or other skin problems. It really can be so frustrating. And when something finally does work on your skin you’d really feel like you’re on top of the world.

I really do wish that some day there will be this one ultimate cream that will just work miracles on any type of skin.

Make up tips on youtube.

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

I am one of those many people who are not blessed with acne free, flawless skin. Believe me I know some people who have clear beautiful skin even without make up on. But unfortunately for people like me we depend on make up to make it bearable to go out in public without feeling conscious about how our skins look.

Until I find the best acne treatment and also moisturizer that will help me with my dry skin and at the same time not promote break-outs, I just have to cover up the blemishes, acne and skin discoloration with make up. Thanks to youtube now we can learn from people who really know how to do that perfectly well.

The video above is from scandalousbeauty on how to cover up your skin flaws with make up. I love her videos.

Follow the rest of the crowd?

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

If the craze for curly hair is back, the trend followers would rush to be in line with the latest fashion fad. For me, when someone asked me why don’t I go for the new hairstyle that everybody is crazy about, I’d say, “Why is it that everybody has to be a follower all the time? Can’t they just be ‘themselves’?”.

Nothing against looking good. Just don’t get it much with obsessive fashion followers that would put their hairs under so much stress (with all those chemicals and hot irons) just to follow the rest of the crowd.

Sun and wrinkles.

Monday, July 20th, 2009

Summer is great. Despite the heat, you don’t have to worry about your clothes too much. No more thick coats and heavy boots where ever you go. But the only problem is the UV rays that can be rather dangerous. There is a popular website,  which nearly everyone here visits,  that provides UV alert that tells people when it is not advisable to be under the sun too long.

The sun can be a friend and it can be a foe. We were brought up to believe that sunshine is good for the skin. But they didn’t really tell us that too much of it is not good. The UV ray from the sun can cause skin to wrinkle fast. That is a price to pay for a nice sun tan.

However, nowadays with so many medical breakthroughs being made, there is one particular product that was claimed to really work pretty well to admonish not only wrinkles, stretch marks and also some other minor skin flaws. This product is called strivectin.

No injections, or operations needed because strivectin is a facial cream that you apply on your facial skin just like you’d do with any other creams, 3 times daily. It is said, only within 28 days you will be able to see an improvement on how your skin looks. Wrinkles or stretch marks would slowly diminish.

You may obtain strivectin from many places, but currently you can get a 177ml sized tube at vitasunn.co.uk for only GBP £84.95, when it originall retails at GBP £134.95.

Perhaps in a way it is fortunate for me that I don’t really like to sunbathe because I don’t want to get too brown. So less wrinkles for me then. :)
