First of all: Happy New Year to you visitor.
So far, after 4 days into the new year, life has been good. I look forward to many more happy days ahead. I am actually not a New Year resolution type of person. Afterall you don’t need to wait for New year to start a list of resolution. Right? Furthermore, most of the time my resolution is almost the same every year anyway – Lose more weight, be more forgiving, slowly but surely try to get rid of bad habits.
Did I achieve any of those last year? no and yes. I didn’t lose more weight I think but at least I maintained it well. I forgave someone as I started to talk to that person whom I had not spoken to for a year (or more). As for bad habits, I was not online as much as before. All these I tend to keep on doing.
This year I added a little bit more things on my resolution list. I’d like to keep a nice clean home at all times, even if I’m tired from work. I used to let the place get messy and do major clean up on the weekends. (At least I do clean up my home every weekend
). My floor may not be like one of those pretty looking quick step floors, but at least they are always clean now. Secondly, I’d like to meditate everyday. I meditated before, but not everyday. But now I’ve started doing it everyday for almost a week now. I am not exactly meditating like a monk but I am enjoying the calm after doing it.
Well, these are my resolutions! My goal is to make them all come true.
