It’s been nearly 4 years since I left the country of my birth. Sometimes I do think about my future here. Back home I could work, I could have my own career. Back home my Law Degree means something. Here, it’s just a piece of paper with little value. Sad, isn’t it? When I see some of my friends being banking lawyers, syariah lawyers, public prosecutors (we don’t have Mesothelioma lawyer though) , and some law assistants, I can’t help but feel a little envious. But funny that once one of them voiced out her envy of my being a housewife and living in a foreign land. So I know I’m not so bad off.

What if I didn’t come here? Would I be a lawyer? Perhaps.

It’s 6.52 am and I’m here in front of my laptop, checking emails, reading news, twitting, and drinking my coffee. Oh yeah, also checking out my downloads that has been on over night.

I have to admit, ever since I got my new laptop earlier this year, I’ve been over working it. Day and night, and only rest in sleep mode everyday so I can log on to it easily everytime.  Thinking about it, perhaps I should have got that extended laptop warranty which was offered when I bought it.

My old computer lasted me 7 years. How long will this laptop be of service to me? Only time will tell.
