Sunday, July 12th, 2009In my previous post I’ve mentioned about getting a Canon Powershot A590is or a Canon Powershot SX110 IS. I’ve decided what camera to get. Neither of them. I’m getting a Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ-28.
A 10 MP, 18 x optical zoom bridge camera. I saw that it offers High Definition video recording and the ability to zoom in and out smoothly while recording videos. A feature that I’ve been looking for in a digital camera.
My other half has a big camcorder which he refuses to use. Too big he says, or couldn’t be bothered to handle the battery charging and all. So I’m the camera person in the family, taking photos and videos. An all in one camera is something that I need to do the work.
I have ordered the camera 2 days ago. Usually they’d send within 3 working days, so by right I’d get it by Wednesday. But since they don’t have black in stock so had to wait maximum 3 weeks. I do wish that I can get it sooner though. 
However since this place is selling the camera at the cheapest price I could find, I really can’t complain much. I could always get the silver one, but there are additional non compulsory lenses that come in black. Thus, in case I may want to buy those lenses, it would better to have a black body camera.
Looking forward to take pictures with it.
