Spring vacation.
Sunday, June 7th, 2009We just came back from a short Spring vacation in the country. About an hour plus drive away from the capital city and half an hour away from the neighbouring country.
Although the weather may not be as warm as we expected but it was still lovely. The crops and wild flowers are in abundance and seems to be doing pretty well.
The view were equally as lovely. At times I do feel envious of those people who actually get to call the place their home. But perhaps they themselves feel envious of those who live in the city. As they say, “The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence”.
My significant other did say that we could always move to the country side if we ‘desperately’ want to. Sounded awesome, but then again, when I think about all those packing and the long distance moving process that we may have to go through all over again… perhaps it is much better where we are right now. Further, we can always go back to the country anytime we want. Get the best of both the city and the country. So why bother moving right?? 
The short vacation was great while it lasted. Will be back there again hopefully this Summer.
