Renting in Prague.

Sunday, April 19th, 2009

Some people prefer cheap hostels while travelling, while some others like to live in luxury hotels. We intend to visit Prague perhaps next year if everything goes well. But instead of hostels or hotel we prefer to try Prague apartment rental.

One main reason is because we would have better control. As a family we could  feel a lot at home in an apartment than in a hotel. Saying this from experience. We stayed in an apartment for a week. It is so comfortable and yet it was not as expensive as a luxury hotel.

One website we found useful when it comes to searching for apartment rentals in Prague is coolpragueapartments.com.The apartment they have got to offer are fully equipped and furnished. There will be a maid that would come every few days to do the cleaning and make sure there are fresh new towels, beddings and sheets. Further, it seems that they can give the lowest price since they own most of the properties.

Although, we have not tried out their service, but we would surely keep in mind about them when we would go there next year. So if you are looking for a place to rent in Prague, I’d suggest you do the same.

Learn violin through videos.

Sunday, April 19th, 2009

Recently I browsed about learning to play musical instruments through videos. There is a website I saw where you can order special DVDs to help you learn to play violin- videoviolinlessons.com.

Although I do not learn to play violin, but I do learn to play the guitar through video lessons. I am progressing well and I enjoyed it. Couple of reasons why I chose to learn through videos. For one reason, I cannot afford to pay a private teacher to teach and the other reason is I need flexible practice time. Learning through videos are cheaper and I can learn anytime and anywhere. Well, anywhere where there’s a DVD player and a tv that is.

Now, the violin instructor featured on the videos is Mrs. Bridgette Seidel. She has been a violin instructor for years and is currently an instructor at the Academy of Music performance and a teacher at a couple of schools. You can read in details about her and the Academy in more details on the website.

The thing I like about the site is, you can always email Mrs. Seidel to ask any questions you may have regarding the violin lessons. The testimonials from students young and old are rather encouraging, but if you can always check out a sample video on the website before you decide to try out the DVDs.

Order car parts online.

Sunday, April 19th, 2009

I have heard the same advice from a few people I know when it comes to buy a certain car. “Don’t buy that car because you won’t be able to find the spare parts easily.” they’d say. Or “Even if you find the parts, it would cost you an arm and a leg to pay for them. ” Apparently they forget about the internet where it is possible to find just about anything and at a great bargain price.

There is a website that I was referred to, 247spares.co.uk. It is just great to see a vast selection of spare parts for so many car makes. You can find from Proton car parts, to Vauxhall Car Parts , to Porsche car parts. The prices they offer are quite reasonable. They even claim to be offering the cheapest vauxhall parts on the internet.

If you are not convinced that they offer the lowest price, you can always get a free quote from them in just minutes and make a comparison.  We considered getting a Malaysian car, Proton, but was afraid that we wouldn’t be able to get the parts here. Now since we saw that parts can easily be obtained online, perhaps we would really go for it.
