Spring is here and as I am typing this, the sun is shining wonderfully outside.  I saw how a sun room looks like on Custom Home Improvement’s official website, they are experts on sun rooms or patio covers in San Antonio. I think a sun room is indeed a great addition to a house that every member of the family would enjoy.

Indeed it would be wonderful to be enjoying the full benefit from the sun and yet at the same time be within the comfort of your home, wouldn’t it?

Reading through their website I found that they also provide home renovating service that helps reduce energy usage at home. Last autumn we spent quite some time to prepare for the cold winter months. We bought some insulation tapes for our doors and windows to prevent warm air from escaping and thus reduce the energy usage. We need to do it just about every year.To save time and perhaps money in the long run, it is much wiser to just do an entire window replacement with energy efficient ones.

Last 28th of March, many of us voted for earth and opted to switch off the lights in our homes for an hour. Perhaps if we take things a little further by doing little changes to our homes, we can help save the environment even more.

Now that is what I call killing two birds with one stone. Save the environment and save money spent on utility bills every month.
